Conservation Reserve Program

Now, let’s take a look at the Conservation Reserve Program, or CRP. As you learned in the video, CRP offers farmers a yearly rental payment and in exchange, they set aside land for perennial vegetation. The goal of the program is to re-establish valuable land cover to improve related conservation issues such as water quality and soil erosion.
